Aromatherapy Travel Insurance - Essential Oils For Your Journeys
by: Misty Rae Cech, ND
Going on a trip is usually thought of as a wonderful experience, one that you and your family may have planned and looked forward to for some time. To have the most fun - to get the most out of the experience - it’s important that you and your loved ones have the means to overcome those little ailments and discomforts that can make the experience range from mildly unpleasant to downright unbearable. How can we include a little ‘Trip Insurance’ to our already overstuffed carry-ons or mini-vans? Aromatherapy has an answer with some readily-available essential oils.
Motion sickness, bug bites, digestive difficulties, and general travel weariness - to name a few - are common discomforts experienced when venturing away from home. A small collection of inexpensive essential oils can provide great relief from these amusement-threatening ailments. ‘Treatment’ with these oils is simple - ranging from inhaling a little oil from a tissue, to adding to a bath, to drinking a drop with a warm cup of water. And, thankfully, relief often comes quickly because of the oils’ powerful properties and compatibility with our own bodies.

Answers To Money And Shopping Questions While Cruising Europe

Money matters can be confusing when traveling but maybe this article will help you out.
We always take lots of single and five dollar bills with us on every cruise. They come in handy for taxis, tips for tour guides, tips for the staff, and little souvenirs at craft shops. They are handy if you run across a bartender on the ship that is really treating you well.
Europe has now changed to the Euro in many countries making it easier to travel from country to country. The countries that are now using that currency are: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, The Vatican, Martinique, Guadalupe, Montenegro, and Kosovo.
Thanks to the miracle of the ATM machine, it is now easier that ever to get money in foreign countries. Use your ATM card in the machine to get the appropriate amount of money for the days you will be in each country. This eliminates carrying lots of Traveler’s Checks but take a few in case of emergencies. Never carry big wads of money no matter where you travel. It makes you an instant target.

Athens Hotel Guide
by: Rahul Viz
Athens is a city which arguably has one of the richest histories in the world. It was the home and center of the world empire of Greece, and is still the capital of the country today. If you are looking for a lively city rich in culture and history, there are few places better to visit than Athens.
Athens is a city riddled with mythology. The city is very ancient, and was the center of learning and Greek culture. Many of the concepts and ideas formulated in ancient Greece are what we today call “western civilization.” Today the city is home to nearly three and a half million people.
Athens is named after Athena, the goddess of wisdom, and the best time to visit is during the late summer or fall. Winter is also a good time to visit, as there will be few tourists and the weather will be good with the exception of a bit of rain.
Athens is a city full of parks, gardens, and cafes. While the hustle of the city might remind you of New York, you will find that Athens has a charm of its own. There are many landmarks for tourists to see, and you don’t have to travel far to see all of them.

Another Side to Oregon Tourism
by: Ben Randall
One minute I’m cruising around this really cool new website about the Oregon coast (www.beachconnection.net), and the next I’m cruising around Highway 101, taking in all the clean air, the beautiful sights, gobbling some wowing food and visiting a lot of funky secret spots I found online. It’s a wondrous trip that’s hard to forget.
It begins with this site Oregon Coast Beach Connection: rather new, but already huge and all-encompassing in its coverage of the upper half of the coast. I started by goofing around the virtual tours (not all of them are completed), which have on average 60 different stops along various areas of the coast. I found some interesting hidden beaches near Cannon Beach, down in Newport and near Manzanita.
The site has this awe-inspiring, sprawling news section, where I discovered some great restaurants and hotels. I used their weather page to check the forecast just before I left on this really sunny weekend in February - and just like one of their stories about “winter weather secrets” said it would be - it was exceptionally warm in February. See their news section at www.beachconnection/news.

Eat Great in Kauai on a Budget
by: Bill McKenzie
Hawaii has a reputation of being exotic and expensive, however there are places to eat that not only taste great but won’t break your budget as well. Many tourists frequently get trapped at certain touristy style restaurants that cost a lot of money, however if you are visiting our beautiful island of Kauai then you should check out some of the following local restaurants that are amazingly inexpensive at least when you consider the other prices on the island and serve up some amazing meals.
North Kauai
If you are vacationing in the north, or have rented a condo in the north of Kauai and will be back there in time for dinner, then you should consider Bamboo Bamboo. It is in Hanalei and the platters are priced low to mid range. The setting is outside with a garden view or inside if you prefer. Also, since most meals cost between $10 and $20 you won’t spend a fortune on a great dinner.
Another great North Kauai restaurant is the Tropical Taco. This restaurant is also low priced and mixes Mexican flavors with natural tropical feelings from the islands. The Tropical Taco is the most popular Mexican restaurant on Kauai.

Steal A Deal on Orlando Accommodations
by: Catherine Lawson
Looking to bag a bargain on Orlando accommodation? With so many hotel and condo businesses out there, competing for your trade, it’s much easier than you might think.
First you need to decide if you want to stay in a hotel or, condo or villa. If you’re renting a car, a villa may be a better option.
If you decide on a hotel, you will need to search for hotels near to the attractions you will be visiting most. If you’re going to be spending a lot of time at Disney world, you need to look at hotels in the Lake Buena Vista area. There’s also some great non-disney hotels in Downtown Disney, or you might opt for a Walt Disney World hotel.
If you’re going to be spending more time at other Orlando attractions on your vacation, such as Universal, you will be better of staying in the International Drive area.
The time of year you choose to go is going to be an important factor in getting the best deal in Orlando. Avoid popular vacation times, such as Christmas, and Easter if you can. Walt Disney World and Universal get extremely crowded at this times and because it gets so busy, there are fewer deals on accommodations.

Within a days drive of most of Middle America, Lake Cumberland is considered a premier family vacation destination.
