Great Website to Book Your Hotel In Advance
by: Scott Emerson
Have you ever taken a trip and booked a room in a hotel that you thought was sure to be luxurious, but it turned out to be a disappointment? Perhaps you made an early reservation and then arrived to discover that you had been “bumped” from the list of bookings. Or you may have asked for a non-smoking room but then scented the distinct lingering smell of tobacco after checking in.
Whatever your experience has been, travelers everywhere expect quality accommodations when they choose a good hotel and pay a fair rate. This is especially important when traveling abroad. No one wants to be far from home only to find themselves in a dirty, cramped, or poorly located facility. That is why you need to work with a professional travel service when planning your trip. You will be able to choose exactly the type of lodging to suit your budget and your itinerary.

Cheap Hotels Can Make That Vacation More Affordable Than You Think
by: Scott Grueson
The key to enjoying an affordable vacation is to finding inexpensive hotels to stay in. This is because accommodation costs are a significant chunk of the total vacation expenditure and by staying in a cheap hotel vacationers can afford to experience more of what a holiday destination has to offer.
Families planning a vacation need to keep their eyes open for the best hotel deals on offer. The Internet is a great resource for finding cheap hotels that offer good food and lodging. One can compare services offered across hotels for a given rate; this knowledge helps while negotiating for accommodation. Hotels can also be compared for nearness from the airports, railway stations, and tourist attractions. It is important to look up hotels on more than one site that list comparisons. This is because not all hotels in an area may be listed on a site. Hotels also list discount deals and vacation deals on their own websites, subscribing to hotel newsletters is another option that helps to keep abreast of rate changes.
Grill Burner Comparison: Cross Sections

Grill Burner Comparison: Cross Sections
by: Harold Wagner
All stainless steel burners are not created equal. When comparing burner systems, there are a few key points to look for. Most manufacturers use stainless steel sheet metal to make their burner systems. The downside of sheet metal burners is that they are prone to a process called burn-through. The manufacturer’s warranty covers sheet metal burners against rust-through, but does not cover against burn-through. To combat burn-through, select manufacturers use CAST stainless steel burners. The warranty on these burners does cover burn-through as well as rust-through, twisting, warping and any other problems.
Compared side by side it is plain to see by our photos at www.GasGrillsNow/BurnerComparison.htm, that where a sheet metal burner is not as thick as a U.S. quarter, a cast stainless steel burner is a full ¼ INCH thick. Along with being thicker, note the placement of the burner ports on the side of the burner. On the sheet metal burners, the ports are exposed to grease drippings, and food particles, which can clog the ports and speed up the burn-through process. The cast burner is designed with a protective ridge, so that drippings cannot contact the ports.
Vacation Apartments, The Good And The Bad

Vacation Apartments, The Good And The Bad
by: Jamie Ritchie
Strata titled holiday apartments on the east coast of Australia first came about well over a quarter of a century ago as a means of building holiday accommodation in large building complexes without the whole resort being owned by a single identity.
A ten storey building could then be built with each seperate apartment sold off to the public and one of the apartments to a resident manager who maintained the whole resort. They kept the gardens maintained, cleaned the pool and generally looked after the building. The other role they played was to rent out the apartments of owners to vacationers as an onsite real estate agent.
All this looks great and while the building is relatively new doesn’t cause any great problems.Once the apartments become aged and in need sprucing up a bit it is up to each owner to then renovate there own apartment. Many owners don’t understand or simply refuse to update to a standard you would like to stay in on holiday. Older buildings can then have a variety of standards of accommodation and not all apartments look like the glossy brochures you see.

The Benefits of Travel to Sacred Places
by: Robert W. Scheer
Visiting sacred places can have a profoundly positive impact on people’s lives. Earth is dotted with power centers where people have experienced visions, healings, prophecies, inspiration or insight into the meaning of their lives. Stonehenge in England, the Pyramids in Egypt, Machu Picchu in Peru, Sedona in Arizona and Mount Shasta in California are among the world’s best known power sites, but there are over 1,000 stone circles, holy wells, sacred forests, healing springs, oracle caves and pagan temples across the planet that have been attracting visitors since ancient times.
The healing power of sacred places
Only 30 miles from Santa Fe, New Mexico is El Santuario de Chimayo where 300,000 visitors each year come to scoop sand from a hole in the floor of the “Room of Miracles.” Its walls are lined with letters and photographs from hundreds of thankful pilgrims who say they were healed here. Cornwall, in the southwest of England, has more than a dozen holy wells where, like Lourdes in France, miraculous cures have been reported for hundreds of years.

Bordeaux - More than a Wine
by: Shari Hearn
Mention Bordeaux to most people and a smile will form on
their faces. “Ah, yes,” they’ll say, “I just love a good Bordeaux.
Why, I remember this lovely 1985 Margaux”
And, yes, while Bordeaux produces great wines (especially a
1985 Margaux), what most people are ignoring is the city of
Bordeaux itself. While most people focus on the Bordeaux wine
region, the city of Bordeaux has many sights that make a stay
there an exciting one. First, there’s the look of the city.
You’ll find Roman, Gothic and Renaissance architecture represented
throughout this fine, historic city. The many 18th century mansions
and Gothic cathedrals are well worth the visit, as is the ruined
amphitheatre, Palais Gallien, where many a Gladiator met his fate.
While in Bordeaux one can’t help but notice the many museums
throughout the city, museums famous for their prestigious collections.
And, no wonder, Bordeaux has inspired many great artists and
painters through history. For a glimpse into the history of Bordeaux,

Unforgettable Times Spent At Barcelona Apartments
by: Ciara McNamara
Barcelona apartments have the advantage of offering you enough space so that everybody has there ‘personal area’ and you do not have to worry about packing four people into one hotel room, sharing just one bathroom ( all apartments have one full and one half bath ) and dividing up the wardrobe space. You can choose the amount of bedrooms and how you want the beds to be distributed: two doubles, a single, bunk beds, double beds or sofa bed to have even more room.
You needn’t worry about getting to breakfast on time as you can prepare them when you want and as you like. All Barcelona apartments are fully furnished with all the basic kitchen utensils and appliances. It is nice to have the option of just a quick meal or snack and not have to worry about making reservation or queueing. One fun activity, if you want to call it that, is to have a Barcelonian style breakfast sitting out on the terrace, enjoying the fantastic year round weather. You should order fritter with a nice hot cup of hot chocolate, or if you need something stronger to wake you up, good Spanish style coffee and a typical pastry. If you had the idea of a hefty breakfast, then go for any of the many Spanish omelettes. Paying exorbitant prices in the restaurants can be eliminated and as the days go by, you will be able to observe which places have the best offers and enjoy your meals there. When making daily excursions you can easily pack a picnic basket after snooping around in the local delicatessen or supermarket, choosing what best suits your needs.

Let Your Vacation Bloom in Amsterdam!
by: Steven Wallace
Ah yes, Amsterdam - the city of tulips, the city of blooming festivals of color and fragrance in the springtime. However, when you travel to Amsterdam, you’ll also find a teeming center of finance and culture, rivaling other European capitals. Begun as a tiny fishing village about 1200 AD, Amsterdam has grown into the capital of the Netherlands, the country that is still, today, called “Holland” by many tourists unfamiliar with the fact that Holland is actually a geographical area within the Netherlands.
Regardless of what you call the country, an Amsterdam holiday can be designed according to any budget, with quality hotels in various price ranges (see http://www.hoteldetective.net/Town/EN/Amsterdam-Hotels.htm) and a myriad of sights and attractions.
If you’re interested in Amsterdam on a discount budget, you might consider staying at the Golden Tulip Amsterdam - Zaandam, available for as little as $125 per night, depending upon the time of year. Close to the railway station, the Golden Tulip puts the city center just a quick, 12-minute ride away, and it’s situated right in the center of many of the city’s most popular attractions: museums, shopping, and even windmills and world-famous cheese markets.

Discover The Raymond Restaurant In Pasadena California
by: David G. Hallstrom, Sr.
Thousands of people drive by The Raymond Restaurant every day and don’t even realize what it is. The Raymond Restaurant, 1250 S. Fairoaks Ave., Pasadena, Ca. 91105, (626) 441-3136, occupies and old weathered caretaker’s cottage which looks, from the outside, like a fairly run down old house set back off the street. Looks, however, can be deceiving. The old saying, “You can’t judge a book by it’s cover”, is especially true in the case of The Raymond. Inside that weathered cottage is one of the best fine dining establishments in Los Angeles County.
Inside The Raymond you are transported to a cozy, romantic, old fashion setting with intimate dining rooms, secluded booths, comfortable seating, leaded glass, fine china, and three candlelit garden patios.
